These Terms and Conditions govern the use of Helix by Doctors (“Helix”), an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. By accessing or using Helix, users agree to abide by these terms, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, especially those governing healthcare and financial data.

Definitions

“Helix” refers to the software suite, including all modules such as patient management, financial operations, and social media integrations.

“User” refers to any healthcare facility, employee, or authorized individual accessing Helix.

“Healthcare Facility” refers to any institution using Helix for patient care, record management, and other related services.

License and Access

Users are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use Helix. This license is conditioned on adherence to these terms and all applicable legal requirements, including healthcare data protection and financial regulations.

User Responsibilities

Helix grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our services for personal or organizational purposes. You agree not to use our services for any unlawful, harmful, or malicious activities, and to abide by any additional usage guidelines posted on our platform. Helix may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.

Data Management

Healthcare Data: Users must manage all healthcare data in compliance with relevant health data protection laws. Helix facilitates secure storage and management of electronic health records (EHRs).

Financial Data: Users must handle financial data within Helix in accordance with applicable financial regulations. Helix supports secure financial transactions and record-keeping.

Social Media Data: For users integrating with Meta platforms, all content and interactions must comply with Meta’s policies.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

Internal Use: Data within Helix is used exclusively to provide the system’s functionalities, including patient management, billing, and social media operations.

Third-Party Sharing: Helix does not share data with third parties except with explicit permission from the healthcare facility, particularly for integrations with government medical records systems or social media platforms like Meta.

Legal Compliance: Helix may disclose data if required by law or to protect the legal rights of the company or its users.

Software Integrations

Healthcare System Integrations: Helix allows integration with centralized government medical records systems, requiring explicit consent from the healthcare facility. All data sharing complies with relevant legal frameworks.

Meta Integration: Users integrating Helix with Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) must adhere to Meta’s terms and policies. Helix facilitates the secure transfer and management of social media content.

Third-Party APIs: Users must ensure that any third-party APIs used with Helix do not violate applicable laws or regulations.

Privacy

Helix is committed to protecting user privacy. The use of Helix is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how data is collected, used, and protected.

Intellectual Property

Helix, including all associated software, designs, and content, is the intellectual property of Helix by Doctors or its licensors. Users are granted limited rights to use this intellectual property solely for the purpose of utilizing the system’s features.

Limitation of Liability

Helix is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Helix by Doctors is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the software.

Termination

Helix reserves the right to terminate or suspend user access to the system for violations of these terms or for engaging in illegal activities. Users may terminate their use of Helix at any time, but must comply with any outstanding legal or financial obligations.

Amendments

Helix may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes and must agree to the revised terms to continue using the system.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the UAE.
