These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website helixbydoctors.com and of the Helix healthcare software platform operated by Optimus FZCO ("Optimus", "we", "us"), 3022, A5, Dubai Digital Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

If your organisation has signed a subscription or services agreement with us, that agreement governs your use of the Helix platform and takes priority over these terms if they conflict.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using our website or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use them.

Use of the website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You agree not to:

• Misuse our services or help anyone else do so
• Try to gain unauthorised access to our website, platform, servers or data, or interfere with their security or operation
• Submit false, misleading or unlawful information through our forms, or use them to send spam
• Scrape, copy or harvest content or data from the website in a way that places an unreasonable load on it or breaches these terms
• Upload patient information or other health data through the website's contact or demo forms

Use of the Helix platform

• Access to the Helix platform is provided to healthcare organisations under a customer agreement. Each organisation is responsible for the users it authorises and for how they use the platform.
• You must keep your login details confidential and tell your administrator or us straight away if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Each healthcare organisation is responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of the data it enters, including obtaining any consents that apply to patient data.

Intellectual property

All content, features and functionality of our website and platform, including software, text, graphics, logos and the names Helix and Verto, are owned by Optimus FZCO or its licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages of the website for your own information. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from them without our written permission.

No medical advice

The content on our website, including our blog, guides and product descriptions, is general information for healthcare professionals and businesses. It is not medical, legal, regulatory or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional judgement. Always check regulatory requirements with the relevant authority.

AI features

• Helix includes AI features, called Verto, that transcribe consultations, draft notes and documents, suggest codes and orders, answer questions about your data and help with tasks.
• AI outputs can be incomplete or wrong. They are drafts and suggestions that must be reviewed, edited where needed and approved by a qualified clinician or authorised staff member before they are relied on or added to a record.
• Clinical decisions, and actions that affect patients or finances, remain the responsibility of the healthcare professionals and organisation using Helix.

Third-party services and links

Our website and platform may link to, or integrate with, third-party services such as health information exchanges, insurance platforms, payment providers and messaging services. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

Availability and changes

We work to keep our website available and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice. Service levels for the Helix platform are set out in your customer agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Optimus FZCO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, our website or services. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, unless your customer agreement says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continuing to use our website or services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
