Prescriptions from WhatsApp and email, read by AI
Prescriptions arrive by WhatsApp, email, the Helix EMR, walk-in or phone. An AI model classifies each document, extracts patient, prescriber and items, and matches them to your formulas. Controlled substances are flagged urgent automatically, and every AI draft waits for a pharmacist.
Pharmacist verification the AI never approves
A rules engine checks identity, licensing, controlled status, dosage, interactions, duplicates, expiry and formulary. AI triage sorts prescriptions into clean, discrepancy and controlled lanes, but approval is always one human click, with an audit entry and a 24-hour undo. Quotes go to the patient on WhatsApp with Confirm and Decline buttons.
Formulas, batches and two-person QC
The formula builder records USP category (795, 797, 800), ingredients with hazardous flags, steps and beyond-use dates by storage. Each item moves through prep, filling, in-process QC, QC1 and QC2, and QC2 must be signed by a different person. Failed attempts stay on record.
GS1 labels, routed delivery and proof
Labels carry a GS1 DataMatrix with GTIN, lot and expiry, plus DHA label fields. Dispatchers build routes optimised on the road network, and drivers use the Helix Driver app with cold-chain logging. Proof of delivery can require signature, photo, WhatsApp code and ID; controlled deliveries require all four.
